Why We Love Green Alternative Gas & You Should Too!
Alternative fuel conversions aren't just our business, they're also our passion at Green Alternative Systems.
From public transportation to food shipments, to intercontinental flights, there are more vehicles traveling the globe than ever before.
There is also no doubt that we need those vehicles to sustain our current global society and economy. They allow farmers to feed the world, allow everyone to benefit from time-saving electronics, and allow people everywhere to travel and trade ideas like never before. To lose those transportation systems would mean regressing backward by centuries. But we can't ruin the planet in the process.
The specter of long-term problems due to our current way of life hangs over us and it’s seen in major cities all over the world in the form of smog. Many of us understand that changes are needed for us to have a sustainable environment for our children to grow up and prosper.
That's why we love fuel alternatives and alternative fuel conversions.
Better Fuel Systems for A Better Way of Life
Simply put, there are many upsides to alternative fuels such as compressed natural gas (CNG) and propane, and so few drawbacks, that it's hard to understand why they've taken so long to catch on.
CNG is incredibly clean-burning. It may be a fossil fuel, but it cuts noxious emissions by upwards of 75%. Propane isn't quite as clean-burning, but it's more readily available and still a vast improvement over gasoline. Both alternatives also deliver better fuel efficiency than petrol as well. They're cheaper to fill a tank with and require fewer fueling stops.
Maintenance costs go down too!
Since they're cleaner-burning, they leave less residue within engines. This prolongs the lifespan of CNG- and propane-based engines while reducing vehicle downtime. That's crucial in many working vehicles, particularly those like buses that require rigorous daily use.
